Daniel Bratanov is a professor in Public health. Currently, he is a Dean of Public Health and Health Care Faculty of University of Ruse, Bulgaria. As a professor, he teaches subjects of Occupational therapy and Physiotherapy equipment. His research activities are mainly in the field of advanced robotics with medical implementation, but he also has interests and research results in autonomous, complex robotic systems for military and civil protection purposes. Bratanov is an author of several books and articles in rehabilitation robotics and post-stroke rehabilitation. They are a result of 12 international EU funded research and development projects with his involvement.
